FRoSTA Food Scouts

Promotion idea: 
  • Launch of a nationwide online/offline promotion looking for teams of two people each. They needed to have a good presence on-air, loved to travel and - of course - needed to love cooking and experimenting with flavours - the FRoSTA Food Scouts!
Execution: 
  • The call to action for this promotion was executed through the high-frequency channels of FRoSTA (online, POS, on-pack).
  • Participants registered in pairs of two people online; there they were asked to provide some personal data as well as a declaration telling the jury why they are the right team to become FRoSTA Food Scouts. 
  • A jury decided which teams were invited to the TV castings. 
  • During the castings a further selection was done to find our who had the best qualifications to become a FRoSTA Food Scout travelling the world in search of new cooking inspirations.
  • Brand and media partners not only call for action, they also report throughout the entire promotion about the on-going development of the Food Scouts as well as their excursions through the world. 
Result: 
  • Together with a FRoSTA representative, a professional chef as well as a camera team, our Food Scouts travel through three different countries on the search for new incrediences and new ways of cooking food. 
  • Back home the teams are sent to individual workshops where they consolidate their findings into new FRoSTA products. These new products are then presented live in front of media and brand partners at a big finale. 
  • One winning recipe was selected from these three groups by a qualified jury. The final winning recipe was turned into a commercial deep frozen product and brought to market by FRoSTA.
  • Brand as well as media partners report about this newly launched product.
